Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • New Business Sales - 70%

Contact the appropriate decision makers at the companies on your client prospect list via telephone, during face-to-face meetings and at events in order to introduce Ve Interactive’s technology and services.

Negotiate and close a specified number of sales prospects every month to gain contractual commitment for their use of Ve Interactive’s technology and services.

 

  • Prospecting and New Business Evaluation -5%

Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to approach and sell Ve Interactive’s technology and services.

 

  • Mentoring & Partnerships - 15%

Take a leading role in uncovering new partnership opportunities with clients for Ve Interactive.

Actively supporting the efforts of your colleagues to propose our technology suite to client in order to increase Ve Interactive revenue.

 

  • Admin & Reporting - 5%

Provide well-written and accurate proposals to your prospects to ensure that the greatest volume of new business is secured with a contract in the shortest possible timeframe.

Provide a follow up to your colleagues about the outcome of your sales calls to ensure new business can be set live in the shortest timeframe possible.

Maintain the company CRM and your sales pipeline, with timely and accurate details of your sales activities.

 

  • Channel/Network Thought Leadership – 5%

Develop a broad understanding of digital marketing technologies and topical developments from the digital marketing industry in order to provide your clients with informed and useful insights. E.g. new technology releases from the industry or from Ve Interactive

Be well versed in new and established technologies that are complementary to or that compete with Ve Interactive in order to present a convincing business case for companies to purchase Ve Interactive’s services.

Read and make regular contributions to tweets, blogs, communities and forums relevant to the digital industry and support our Marketing team online (via blogs, twitter, etc.). by sharing Ve Interactive social media updates.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of programmatic prospecting and experience of working in the digital space
  • Strong contacts with Tier 1 and Tier 1 Retailers in the UK
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can establish and maintain a sales client base and good reputation among your peers.
  • Ability to open up a conversation with a cold/new prospect and establish a rapport that will enable you to quickly identify their business needs. You must then be able to close your sales efficiently.
  • You will be self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently or within a small team.
  • You will have a confident and authoritative manner alongside strong written and verbal communication skills, which includes the ability to present to large and informed audiences.
  • You will have a good understanding of how to analyse the value of a prospect to Ve Interactive and to make the right judgment call on how much of your time and attention a prospective client should be given.
  • In this role you will need to be a thinker; able to consider innovative answers and solutions when presented with a challenge. You will have a responsive attitude when meeting the demands of sales prospects, established clients and colleagues in equal measure. Your communication with all three will consistently be courteous, accurate and punctual.
  • As a client-facing member of staff you will always be presentable, ready to meet with clients at very short notice. The nature of sales necessitates that you are persistent, resilient, tenacious and creative in varying measures to suit the situation at hand.
